The Trouble Is, We Think We Have Time

DSC_6588

….. as a friend or a foe?

As kids, we were taught the value of time, to be patient to let it teach us things we need to know about life.  Let time heal wounds and re-build burned bridges.  Let time unravel life’s hidden wisdom.  Let time do the work for us.  Let it be our friend.

But I think there should be a cut-off for this BS 😉  It should be at 30 haha.

At 30, we should start seeing time as a foe.  Beat it by all means. Make the most out of the amount of it given to us.  Try our best.  Because if we don’t, we will lose the Game of Time.  Opportunities will pass.  People will leave.  Relationships will crumble.  And we’ll be left alone – then again, with Time.  As a friend or a foe?  It depends on how we played the Game of Time.  We either end up winning and having it as a friend, or we end up losing, hating it as our biggest foe.

Time can never be blamed.  It’s always there.  A constant.  It can be an existence or an absence.  But always there to refer to.

We however……..
