We desire the things we desire. And when we get them, we suddenly realize we are in this lucid dream, a dream we have carefully crafted with our innermost desires. A perfect scenario that seemed real and seemed to last for eternity – except not. They often last for a fraction of the time we have imagined them to be.
So much for desires. They are often short lived. They are meant to be short lived. We either dust ourselves off and move on as fast as we can, or find ourselves left in the cold, dark corner of that lucid dream cloud, hurting and waking up to the harsh truth that we wanted something more than Desire.
We wanted something Real.
